1. No Spam / Advertising / Self-Promotion in the Community

We define the above as unsolicited advertisement for goods, services and/or other websites, or posts with little, or completely unrelated content.

Do not spam the community with links to your site or product, or try to self-promote your website, business, forum or anything else applicable to the above. Spamming also includes sending private messages to a large number of different users. Doing so will result in your immediate suspension of your account, IP address and prevent you from accessing the community again.

DO NOT ASK for e-mail addresses or phone numbers! Never provide personally identifiable information to anyone. Seedfunding.co.uk Community staff and moderators will never ask for your username or password.

2. Do Not Post Copyright-Infringing Content/Material

Providing or asking for information on how to illegally obtain copyrighted materials is forbidden. Unless you have explicit permission from the rights owner(s) or own the content/material yourself.

For example, if you are answering a query on 'How to learn marketing to help my business?' it is ok and permittable to post legitimate link(s) to content/material you believe may be helpful to the community such as a course, blog or news article, external forum post or another website. You cannot however, provide resources to illegally access the material, otherwise that is not made available by the rights owner(s), this includes links to torrents, warez websites, or illicit forums or other such websites.

3. Do Not Post “Offensive” Posts, Links or Images

Any content/material which constitutes defamation, harassment, or abuse is strictly prohibited. Material that is sexually or otherwise obscene, racist, or otherwise overly discriminatory is not permitted in the community. This includes profile pictures.

Use common sense while posting. This community is meant for entrepreneurs, business owners and investors, keep it professional.

4. Do Not Cross-Post Questions

Please refrain from posting the same question in several different categories. There is normally one category which is most suitable in which to post your question.

5. Treat Others Like You Would Like to be Treated

All posts should be professional and courteous. You have every right to disagree with your fellow community members and explain your perspective.

However, you are not free to attack, degrade, insult, or otherwise belittle them or the quality of this community. It does not matter what title or power you hold in these forums, you are expected to obey this rule.
